Add wall openings and keep them within valid wall boundaries.
Place an opening
Select a door or window tool and place it on a wall. Select the opening to change its width and available style or swing settings. The opening must fit within its wall and cannot overlap another opening.
Door styles
The browser editor offers Single, Double, Sliding, Pocket, Bifold, Garage and Open Passage styles. Use the available swing or flip controls when shown, then check clearance against nearby fixtures.
Window styles
The browser editor offers Standard, Double Pane, Sliding, Casement and Wide Fixed styles. These are drawing symbols; they do not establish product specifications, structural openings or material performance.
If placement fails
Try a wider wall section or reduce the opening width. Check for another opening at that point. For a missing opening in a generated 3D model, use model error reporting rather than assuming a 2D edit repairs the model.
